Cotrimoxazol Tabletten 480 mg is used to treatment of susceptible strains lead to E. coli, klebsiella species, e. coli and proteus, ordinary proteus and Morgan bacterial urinary tract infections caused by susceptible strains. Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia prevention, available for pneumocystis carinii disease patients to hae a history of at least one, or adults infected with HIV, their CD4 lymphocyte count 200 cells/mm3 or less or less than 20% of the total number of lymphocytes.

Die Hauptindikationen dieses Produkts sind die Behandlung der folgenden Infektionen, die durch anfällige Stämme verursacht werden.
1. Bakterielle Harnwegsinfektionen vom Typ E. coli, Klebsiella-Arten, E. coli und Proteus, gewöhnlicher Proteus und Morgan, hervorgerufen durch anfällige Stämme.
2. Streptococcus pneumoniae and haemophilus lead to acute otitis media for 2 years age or older children.
3. Streptococcus pneumoniae und Haemophilus führen bei Erwachsenen zu akuten Episoden einer chronischen Bronchitis.
4. Bei der Behandlung einer Pneumocystis-carinii-Pneumonie ist dieses Produkt die erste Wahl.
5. Vorbeugung einer Pneumocystis-carinii-Pneumonie. Verfügbar für Patienten mit einer Pneumocystis-carinii-Erkrankung in der Anamnese oder für HIV-infizierte Erwachsene, deren CD4-Lymphozytenzahl 200 Zellen/mm3 oder weniger bzw. weniger als 20 % der Gesamtlymphozytenzahl beträgt.
6. Enterotoxin e. coli (ETEC) lead to tourists diarrhea.
