Co-trimoxazole Tablets 480 mg is used to treatment of susceptible strains lead to E. coli, klebsiella species, e. coli and proteus, ordinary proteus and Morgan bacterial urinary tract infections caused by susceptible strains. Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia prevention, available for pneumocystis carinii disease patients to hae a history of at least one, or adults infected with HIV, their CD4 lymphocyte count 200 cells/mm3 or less or less than 20% of the total number of lymphocytes.

The main indications of this product is to treatment the following infections caused by susceptible strains.
1. E. coli, klebsiella species, e. coli and proteus, ordinary proteus and Morgan bacterial urinary tract infections caused by susceptible strains.
2. Streptococcus pneumoniae and haemophilus lead to acute otitis media for 2 years age or older children.
3. Streptococcus pneumoniae and haemophilus lead to adult chronic bronchitis acute episodes.
4. In the treatment of pneumocystis carinii pneumonia, this product is first choice.
5. Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia prevention, available for pneumocystis carinii disease patients to hae a history of at least one, or adults infected with HIV, their CD4 lymphocyte count 200 cells/mm3 or less or less than 20% of the total number of lymphocytes.
6. Enterotoxin e. coli (ETEC) lead to tourists diarrhea.
