1. Geschikt voor de behandeling van gevoelige gramnegatieve bacillen, zoals e. coli, Klebsiella, Proteus, Salmonella, Shigella, Enterobacter, Serratia, Pseudomonas aeruginosa en Staphylococcus methicilline gevoelige stammen leiden tot ernstige infecties zoals sepsis, lagere luchtwegen, darminfectie, bekkeninfectie, buikholte infectie, zacht weefsel infecties, complexiteit, urineweginfecties etc.
2. gebruikt in gevoelige bacteriën leiden tot infectie van het centrale zenuwstelsel zoals meningitis, kan ventriculitis dit product ook intrathecale injectie als adjuvante.

Het wordt uitgeschakeld voor die allergisch zijn voor dit product of andere aminoglycoside.
