El uso de Sales de rehidratación oral para diarrea aguda. Usual adult and adolescent dose for Moderate dehydration: Oral, initially 100 mL of solution per kg of body weight over six hours, the amounts and rates being adjusted as needed and tolerated, depending on thirst and response to therapy. For the Rehydration Mild dehydration: Oral, initially 50 mL of solution per kg of body weight over four to six hours, the amounts and rates being adjusted as needed and tolerated, depending on thirst and response to therapy.

Rehidratación
1. Mild dehydration: Oral, initially 50 mL of solution per kg of body weight over four to six hours, the amounts and rates being adjusted as needed and tolerated, depending on thirst and response to therapy.
2. Deshidratación moderada: Oral, inicialmente 100 ml de solución por kg de peso corporal durante seis horas, ajustándose las cantidades y tasas según sea necesario y tolerado, dependiendo de la sed y la respuesta al tratamiento.
Nota: La deshidratación grave debe tratarse con soluciones de electrolitos intravenosos.
Límites habituales de prescripción para adultos
Hasta 1000 ml por hora.
Dosis pediátrica habitual
Rehidratación
Deshidratación leve o moderada: Oral, inicialmente de 50 a 100 ml por kg de peso corporal durante las primeras cuatro horas, ajustándose la dosis a 100 ml por kg de peso corporal por día hasta que cese la diarrea, ajustándose las cantidades y tasas según sea necesario y tolerado, dependiendo de la sed y la respuesta al tratamiento.
